Help domestic and international guests to discover the magic of the South Burnett region as a Visitor Information Centre Ambassador in Kingaroy. Volunteers will have great customer service skills and a passion for the region. Training will be provided.

Guide on Ships and Dry Dock

Queensland Maritime Museum

Help Australian military history live on by working as a guide on Australia’s largest surviving World War II ship, the HMAS Diamantina. Volunteers with excellent communication skills are needed to deliver tours to school groups and members of the public on the Diamantina, dry dock and other displays.

Gold Coast Airport Marathon

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2013

This annual mass participation event, attracts runners and walkers from over 40 different countries.

A suite of events are offered to accommodate different ages and abilities; with many corporate, fitness and fundraiser groups participating.

With an anticipated 28,000+ participants in 2013, the Gold Coast Airport Marathon is organised by Gold Coast Events and is assisted by many community groups, contractors and volunteers.

Over 250 general volunteers will be required over the event period.
